Code of Ethics

To familiarize myself with the Fainting Goat Breed Standards and to use it as a guide in breeding.

To promote the interest, aims and purposes of IFGA and to help create a favorable public image of the Fainting goat.

To realize my moral responsibility to my associates and the goats in my care.

To use good sound judgment and ethical behavior.

To be truthful in advertising, not altering facts and not withholding any pertinent information about any goat in order to effect a sale, trade, loan or other transaction.

To offer at stud only bucks that are in good health and condition.  To accept for breeding only does in good health and condition.

Anyone found guilty of deliberately falsifying a goats record and/or altering the appearance to make it qualify for certification and/or registration may have their membership canceled.

Anyone found guilty of animal cruelty, abuse or neglect may have their membership canceled.
